DARLO' HEAD TO QUEEN STREET FOR NEW YEARS DAY CLASSIC
For the first time in many years the historic rivalry between the Steelmen and Darlaston Town will be rekindled as we host a friendly in aid of 'Bilston Remembered' on New Years Day against newly formed Darlaston Town (1874) FC with a 2pm kick-off.
All monies raised will be donated to the fund dedicated to restoring the Bilston Cenotaph, a memorial in the town honouring the fallen men and women of war.
Darlaston Town (1874) are in their debut season and currently sit on top of the West Midlands League Division 2 under the management of former Steelman Mark Swann.
As well as the match there are a host of special guests as well as a bugle solo from Karen Mason who lost relatives in the war and has also performed the 'Last Post' at the annual Remembrance Day service at the Bilston Cenotaph.
We hope you can join us in what is a great way to honour our fallen heroes but also to grab a breath of fresh air after the New Year celebrations!
Just £3 admission across the board, your support is welcomed and very much appreciated.
